Shelter Friends, Inc. Mission
Shelter Friends, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2013, to promote the health and welfare of homeless animals in our community. We are not a rescue organization. We fundraise and network to pay veterinary bills and rescue at risk animal. Partnering with rescue groups and no-kill shelters we find abandoned animals forever homes.
Shelter Friends, Inc. is an all-volunteer organization, governed by a three-member Board of Directors.
How Shelter Friends, Inc. Impacts Our Community

We Are a Different Kind of Resource
Shelter Friends, Inc. raises money for specific animal needs. We wish we could help all animals, but we have to remain focused on our mission. The animals we help are primarily living in St. Charles County, Missouri and the nearby surrounding areas. We do expand our reach to other neighboring states when resources and funds are available.
Because Shelter Friends, Inc. does not have a shelter or foster homes where we can care for animals. For this reason, we do not provide the normal services provided by such organizations
as an animal control agency, humane society or rescue shelter. What we do is network and raise funds whenever we can to assist animals in shelters or other rescues that have special needs that we can help with. Shelter Friends, Inc. remains committed to doing whatever, whenever and wherever we can to ensure that animals are treated for injuries, healed when sick, fed, provided shelter, no longer mistreated and loved.
